Recent Purchases
I haven’t made the wisest decisions recently. I can say it’s due to my recent depression. I can say I bought some stuff I always wanted. That much is true.
My first significant purchase was this wonderful 24″ LED monitor by Viewsonic for $190. Here is the link.
I do a lot of graphics and video work. I absolutely needed a second monitor for one of my Macintosh computers. I absolutely wanted and needed a large monitor to replace the 25″ monitor that died last year.
I was running out of hard drive space for all my data. I bought this Western Digital Elements 2 TB hard drive to store my multimedia. It cost $80. Here is the link.
I was thinking of carrying my iPhone 3GS around with me. I bought this Otterbox Defender case for $17. It matches the case I bought for my Blackberry Curve. Here is the link.

One day I noticed how quickly the battery on my iPhone 3GS ran down. I ordered this Mophie Juice Pack Air for $20. Here is the link.
I saw this Stitchway UltraPower Battery Charger for $6, and just had to order it! Here is the link.
I’ve grown tired of the big black pop filter I used for my microphone. It blotted out my face. I ordered Blue Microphones’ The Pop Universal Pop Filter for $33. Here is the link.
I’ve had some difficulty handling Wirecast, so I finally bought the Korg nanoKontrol USB for $40. Here is the link.
I still need to get this setup in order to handle Wirecast. I haven’t felt up to the task yet.
It appeared my USB hub was dying. My iMac doesn’t have many USB connections. I bought this 10-port USB hub for $7.
Here is the link.
Did I absolutely need all this stuff?! Maybe not, but it makes my computer efforts easier. And, yes, I bought myself some temporary happiness as well.
Maybe it’s not such a bad thing, when you consider all the pain I’ve suffered recently.
